Nice to meet you

Product designer who leads with strategy

I bring an unconventional path to product design—starting in psychology and research before moving into design. That foundation shapes how I approach problems: understanding the "why" before jumping to the "how."

I thrive in ambiguous problem spaces where user needs, business goals, and technical constraints intersect. I lead discovery research, synthesize insights across stakeholders, and translate complexity into clear product strategy and actionable designs.

Currently based in Orlando, FL and open to remote opportunities where I can drive strategic product initiatives at scale.

My Journey

Click on each year to explore my journey

2019

Career Pivot

Health challenges ended my career as a figure skater and hockey referee. This turning point led me to reconsider my path and eventually discover my passion for creating accessible digital experiences—informed by my own experience navigating barriers.

2020

Back to School

Returned to higher education to build a new foundation. Began studying psychology with a focus on human behavior, research methods, and cognitive science—developing expertise in qualitative and quantitative research that would later become central to my design practice.

2022

Finding My Path in Design

Discovered UX and Product Design as the perfect intersection of my interests in psychology, problem-solving, and creating meaningful impact. Began intentionally designing my curriculum around product design—combining psychology, digital design, and programming courses to build an interdisciplinary foundation.

2023

Universal Destinations & Experiences

UX Design Intern leading the design thinking process across multiple projects. Designed experiences impacting millions of theme park guests worldwide while also creating internal tools that empowered team members within their roles. Learned to balance user delight with technical constraints at massive scale.

2024

Bachelor's Degree

Graduated with B.S. in General Integrated Studies, intentionally designing my own curriculum around Product Design. Strategically combined psychology, digital design, and programming courses to build the interdisciplinary skillset that defines my approach: behavioral insights + design thinking + technical fluency.

Master's Program

Began Master's in Human-Centered Design & Engineering to deepen strategic thinking, advanced research methodologies, and systems-level problem solving. Applying academic rigor to real-world product challenges while building expertise in product strategy and organizational design.

Product Designer at SportsEngine

Leading product design for B2B SaaS platform serving youth sports organizations. Owned the design thinking process, led workshops for cross-functional team alignment early in projects, and worked on solving some of the highest impact problems the company faced—balancing user needs with business objectives and technical feasibility.

2026

What's Next

Completing M.S. in Human-Centered Design & Engineering in August. Seeking remote Product Designer roles where I can apply strategic thinking, research rigor, and cross-functional leadership to solve complex problems at scale.

How I Work

adjust

Strategy First, Pixels Second

I start with the problem, not the solution. Research and strategy inform design decisions—not the other way around. Beautiful design that doesn't solve the right problem is just decoration. I focus on outcomes, not outputs.

science

Research-Backed Decisions

Every design decision should be defensible with evidence. I combine qualitative insights with quantitative data to understand not just what users do, but why they do it. This approach leads to solutions that actually work in the real world.

group

Cross-Functional Leadership

Great products require diverse perspectives. I lead by facilitating collaboration between product, engineering, and business stakeholders—translating between disciplines, building alignment, and keeping teams focused on shared outcomes.

balance

Balance User Needs & Business Goals

Strategic design means finding solutions that work for users AND the business. I actively engage with constraints—whether technical, business, or organizational—and use them to inform better solutions, not excuse mediocre ones.

psychology

Psychology-Informed Design

Understanding cognitive biases, decision-making processes, and behavioral patterns isn't optional—it's foundational. I apply behavioral science principles to create intuitive experiences that align with how people actually think and behave.

bolt

AI as Force Multiplier

I leverage AI to accelerate research synthesis and design exploration—not to replace human judgment. AI helps me test 10x more concepts with users, analyze data at scale, and prototype rapidly. The goal: more time on strategic thinking and validation.
